Interview to Dzidek Marcinkiewicz

By Sergio Vilar

Will we begin going behind in the time. What memories do you have of your beginnings in the music? Well, bands like SBB, for example, were a great influence for me in my early days.

What did you look for in the music in your beginnings and that you pursue now? I wanted to be a Rock'n'Roll Star, I think you know what I mean (Sex, Drugs and Rock'n'Roll)

How do you see the current scene in Poland? I think lot's of positive things happen in Poland this time. I like the scene.

Which is the meaning of the I title "Fortune Memories" and why that cover art? It's just a title without a special meaning. The cover was designed by Alfred Kelsner (famous cover Designer of Perry Rhodan Comic Strips and I like his work).

What can you tell us about the recording? I don't believe that it has been a simple work... Expensive, it was a very long and hard time, but also a lot of fun.

How are you managing the sale and distribution of the album? I am a one man company and distribute the album on my own.

Have you already had opportunity to present the live material? We are just doing the rehearsals for a little Europe Tour.

Do you pay attention to the new movements? Is something new that you like it? No, because I don't like this kind of fast food music that is happening in Germany and also Worldwide. I mean the kind of comercial music.

These working in a new disk? Yes.

Do you already have I title or the tentative date of edition? I'm still working on it my friend. You'll be the first to know.

What is what will have of special in connection with "Fortune Memories"? Sorry, I also don't understand this, my english is not so good.

How do you find that the scene will evolve in next years? Thank God that there are so many bands who play handmade music and I think the people are fucked up from Techno and Dancefloor music, only made with computers, so I think we will have a positive evolution of music.

Thank you. Do you want to leave something said? It was a pleasure for me. I'm looking forward to the next talk with you my friend. I hope lots of people in Argentina will read this Interview. Greetings from Germany, all the best to you and Nucleus.
